The intent of this website is to introduce both teachers and students to the importance of global education.
Globally competent students have an understanding that the world is a system. Not only do students need the skills to be college and career ready, they need these skills to be responsible global citizens. Students need to be provided with learning activities and projects that help them develop a healthy global perspective. Globalization (the "flattening" of the world whereby people from different countries are interacting together in many different capacities) is a reality for our twenty-first century students.
